1. Check your account

Open Settings and check your email, name, photo and current House. When changing devices, use your existing account; do not create a new account to recover data.

Read the Privacy Policy and cookie choice limitations. Selecting “Essential” does not disable every SDK.

2. Use alone or pair

You may use the app alone. To connect, open Connect with your partner: one person creates an invitation/QR, and the other enters/scans it and waits for approval. Couple mode does not automatically pair accounts.

Back up first: the person entering the code moves to the creator's House; the old House's data is not automatically merged, and an old House with no members may be cleaned up. Afterwards, check both avatars and the connection date. See the pairing guide.

3. Protect your device and grant permissions

Enable an app PIN and biometrics if you want another access lock. Grant camera, microphone, location, health or notification permissions only for features you use; you may revoke them in operating system settings.

If you enable background location/sleep sharing, check who in the House can see the status. A PIN does not itself restrict the other member's permissions.

4. Check that data saves

  1. Open Diary → Reflections, enter a short message and save.
  2. Wait for success and return to the list to check.
  3. Try adding a memory photo, wait for upload completion and reopen it.
  4. If an error occurs, keep your draft and contact support. Do not uninstall, clear storage or pair again while unsure whether data has synchronized.

5. Personalize

Adjust appearance, anniversaries, music or shortcuts using the available Settings sections. Use only content/links you are entitled to share; external content may connect to separate providers.

Keep copies of important content. For help, open Support; to stop using the service and delete data, read the account/House deletion process.
