SoulLocket Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to SoulLocket mobile app features, browser-based public pages, and related support or operational services that are made available under the SoulLocket name.

2. Information We Collect

Account and profile information

• Email address, sign-in identifiers, display name, avatar, and related account metadata.
• Information needed to connect you to a paired shared space such as a House or relationship profile.

Content you create

• Messages, diaries, notes, comments, uploads, memories, reactions, and other content you intentionally save or share.
• Media and files you upload or generate while using app features.
• Friendly Chat AI prompts, recent AI chat history, AI replies, and AI reply reports when you use or report AI features.

Device and technical data

• Basic device details, app version, notification tokens, approved-device states, and security-related logs needed to operate and protect the service.
• Usage, crash, diagnostic, and ad-interaction signals needed to keep the service stable, secure, and aligned with enabled ad features. General location may also be inferred from IP by infrastructure or ad providers.

Permission-based data

• Location, camera, microphone, photos, notifications, or biometric access only when you grant the relevant permission and use the related feature.

3. How We Use Information

• To create and maintain accounts, pairing, House data, and synchronization between users and devices.
• To operate core features such as chats, diaries, shared content, reminders, media storage, and support flows.
• To generate AI-assisted replies, keep short-term Friendly Chat context, and review reported AI replies.
• To protect the service, detect abuse, review security issues, and respond to support or moderation requests.
• To process purchases, rewards, or other service transactions when those features are enabled.
• To serve ads, rewarded ads, and related fraud-prevention flows when advertising features are enabled.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Sharing

• Your paired partner or House members may see data that is intentionally shared through the feature design and your settings.
• Public or community content may be visible to other users depending on the visibility settings you choose.
• We may use service providers such as authentication, hosting, storage, notification, billing, analytics, support infrastructure, or advertising vendors such as Google Mobile Ads / AdMob to operate the app.
• When AI features are used, prompts and related context may be routed through SoulLocket servers to the configured AI service provider to generate a reply.
• When ads or rewarded ads are enabled, technical data such as ad requests, device details, app interactions, and general location inferred from IP may be processed by those providers under their own policies.
• We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or to investigate abuse, fraud, or security incidents.

5. Retention and Deletion

• We keep information for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain shared data, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.
• Some content may remain available until you delete it, close your account, or a linked shared-space deletion flow finishes processing.
• Friendly Chat AI history is kept for short-term context for about 3 days. AI reply reports may be retained with support and moderation records for review.
• Technical caches or local storage on your device may remain until you clear app data, sign out, uninstall the app, or change settings.

6. Security

• SoulLocket includes security features such as device approval, app locking, and other protective controls depending on the feature used.
• We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect data, but no service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices

• You can edit or remove certain profile data and content inside the app.
• You can revoke device permissions from your operating system settings.
• You can contact support if you need help with privacy, account access, or deletion requests.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

SoulLocket may use cookies, local storage, cache, and similar technologies on public web pages or in web-based components. Read the Cookie Policy for details.

• SoulLocket does not share collected app data with third-party data brokers.
• SoulLocket does not link collected app data with third-party data for marketing or advertising purposes.
• When users access web content in the app, cookies may be used for essential and session purposes, not for SoulLocket-owned cross-site tracking.

9. Children

SoulLocket is not intended for users who are below the minimum age required by applicable law in their location.

10. Updates

We may update this policy when features, legal requirements, or operational processes change.
